I loved your piece written about the Lewis Family from Lincolnton, Georgia - the First Family of Bluegrass Gospel Music.  But wanted to offer a correction, s'il vous plait...
The Lewis Family used a big "Bass Fiddle" (or double bass) but never used a big bass 'drum'.

As a music instructor, I've been putting together some lesson plans for my classes. I'm educating the group about the history of country music...which sadly, is foreign to most of them haha!
