Hello. I saw your website which had Wally Willette on it. Back in 1969, Wally Willette and The Blue Ramblers played for us at the U.S. Naval Hospital in Pensacola. They came inside our ward and played a number of songs for us. We were wounded Marines from Vietnam. In those days, and at that time, not many bands were willing to entertain us. We were pretty well forgotten about, but not by Mr. Willette. I’ll always remember what he did! Thank you for remembering him, too! God Bless Him and you, as well! Dennis
I live near Viola, Tennessee. I have your website on my favorites
list. Thank you, again! |

I wonder if you could add my father, Ricky Roy to your list of singer/songwriters? He was on Mercury records in 1957, Because You're mine (All Mine)/ Lonesome Teenager and Spann records in 1959, Screamin Mimi/Always Together. He wrote "Til school starts again " in 1958, sang by Johnny Ferguson on Decca records. Thanks, Steve Alexander
