Chanteur et guitariste US né le 10 Août 1940 à  Shreveport (Louisiane), Jerry Kennedy a eu une carrière complexe. Il a débuté en 1953 chez RCA Records sous le nom de Jerry Glenn, puis à la fin des années cinquante, Jerry joue de la guitare avec Johnny Horton et fait le guitariste remplaçant au Louisiana Hayride de Shreveport (Louisiane). En 1957, il enregistre un single chez Decca et un autre chez Mercury sous le nom de Jerry Glenn. En 1961, il devient un guitariste de session estimé à Nashville (Tennessee) et le producteur de Jerry Lee Lewis pendant sa réérmergence dans la Country Music. Dans les années quatre-vingts,  Jerry Kennedy était producteur chez Ace Records.

US singer and guitarist born  Shreveport (Louisiana), Jerry Kennedy had a complex career. He started in 1953 on RCA Records under the name Jerry Glenn, then at the end of the fifties, Jerry plays guitar with Johnny Horton and makes replacing guitarist at the Louisiana Hayride in Shreveport (Louisiana). In 1957, he recorded a single for Decca and another at Mercury under the name Jerry Glenn. In 1961, he became a valued session guitarist in Nashville (Tennessee) and producer Jerry Lee Lewis during his réérmergence in Country Music. In the eighties, Jerry Kennedy was producer at Ace Records.
