Chanteuse Country Britannique née Marilyn Margaret Cross, le 16 Juin 1953 à Hull (Yorkshire).
British Country singer. Worked in factory, sang in pub with local band the Falcons, married guitarist Rod Boulton; they formed duo Tammy and Dave Cline, joined band Uncle Sam to compete for spot at Wembley Festival, didn't make it. Solo appearances on radio, TV, then ITV's Search For A Star: formed own Southern Comfort Band, made several appearances at Wembley, named Best British Female Country vocalist each year '80--84, represented UK at International Fan Fair Show in Nashville '80, International Country & Western Music Association Awards Gala in Galveston, Texas '84. Single 'Love Is A Puzzle'/'My Heart Strings Along' on CBS/UK '82; album Tammy Cline And The Southern Comfort Band on President '83, single 'I Wish I'd Wrote That Song'. Lived in Humberside after the pointless government revision of local boundaries mid-'70s but insisted she was still in Yorkshire. Teamed with British singer Little Ginny (Brown) to form Two Hearts, award-winning country duo in the style of the Judds '86, made eponymous album in Nashville and had the best live act on the British country music scene. They split '92, Ginny returned to solo career, Cline concentrated on radio, then spent more time with her family.
