Chanteur Country US né le 22 Avril 1924 à Albertville (Alabama). Lee Bonds a débuté sa carrière dans les radios WGWD et WDAD de Gadsden (Alabama). Avec son groupe, les Shady Lane Playboys, il tourne ensuite dans le Sud et le Middle West, avant d'enregistrer un premier disque chez Tennessee Records en 1953. Puis Lee passe chez Republic (54) où il enregistre un duo avec Sonny Sims. La même année, il signe avec Capitol et en 1958, on le retrouve chez Todd Records. Lee Bonds est décédé le 13 Décembre 2000.
