Chanteur US né le 9 mars 1933, originaire de la Nouvelle Orléans (Louisiane), Lloyd Price fut découvert par Art Rupe, directeur de chez Specialty Records, en 1952. Il écrivit et chanta quelques uns des grands succès des années cinquante et fut surnommé "Mister Personality". Chef d'orchestre et trompettiste, il créa son propre label LL Records. Lloyd a terminé sa carrière à la fin des années soixante.
