Peggy LEE
Chanteuse US née le 27 mai 1920 à Jamestown (Dakota du Nord), de son vrai nom Norma Jean Egstrom. Peggy Lee a débuté en 1941, découverte par Benny Goodman. Elle enregistre aussitôt et devient très vite une très grande chanteuse populaire aux Etats Unis. Celle que ses admirateurs ont surnommée "The Elegant One", depuis longtemps de santé précaire, est morte le 22 janvier 2002 à son domicile de Los Angeles (Californie).
