Chanteur Rock 'n' Roll US né à Jackson (Tennessee). Franklin Stewart se produisit localement, dans les mêmes Honky Tonk que Carl Perkins, avec son groupe sous le nom des "The Stewart Brothers Band". En 1957, ils enregistreront un single pour le label Lu Records situé à Jackson. Quelques enregistrements faits pour le label Hi Records en 1959 resteront inédits.
