Chanteur Rockabilly US né le 2 Septembre 1920 à Saint Louis (Missouri), mais basé à Memphis (Tennessee). Macy (Skip) Skipper a fait quelques démos au milieu des années cinquante pour la Sun Records de Memphis (Tennessee), sans réussir à s'y faire éditer. Il parvint quand même à sortir un single en 1957 chez Light Records, un petit label de Memphis, sans succès. Puis il sortit un autre single chez Stax en 1961. Macy (Skip) Skipper est décédé le 17 Avril 2001.
