Al Rex a été le bassiste des Comets de
Bill Haley en 1958 en remplacement d'Al Pompilli
et il a joué dans la majorité des enregistrements Decca de Bill. En 1960, Al a
formé son propre groupe Al Rex
& The Regaleers,
sans succès. Il est décédé le 24 Mai 2020 à Norristown (Pennsylvanie).
