Bassiste Country US né Albert Floyd Piccirilli, le 13 Juillet 1928 à Black Horse (Pennsylvanie). Al Rex a été le bassiste des Comets de Bill Haley en 1958 en remplacement d'Al Pompilli et il a joué dans la majorité des enregistrements Decca de Bill. En 1960, Al a formé son propre groupe Al Rex & The Regaleers, sans succès. Il est décédé le 24 Mai 2020 à Norristown (Pennsylvanie).

Al Rex was Bill Haley's Comets bassist in 1958 in replacement of Al Pompilli and he played in most of Bill's Decca recordings. In 1960, Al formed his own band Al Rex & The Regaleers, unsuccessfully. He died on May 24, 2020 in Norristown (Pennsylvania).
