Chanteur Rockabilly US né le 4 Mai 1925 à Columbia (Tennessee), Ralph Pruitt a débuté après la guerre, mais ce n'est qu'en 1958 qu'il gravera son premier single, accompagné par ses "Rhythm Boys", mis en boite aux studios Shamrock de Winter Park (Floride). Le single sortira sur Lark Records (le label de Ralph), avant d'être diffusé par Meridian Records. Un second single sortira sous le nom de Ralph Pruett chez BB Records en 1959.
