Il grave son premier disque en 1962 chez Vee Eight Records, puis il passe chez Statue (65), Mariteen, Cynthia, Younger, Delta Sound, Cindy Boo et Ace Records (75). Manifestement doué pour le Country Rock, il continue sa carrière sans grands succès. Mack Allen Smith est décédé le 7 Décembre 2022 à Greenwood (Mississippi).
