Chanteur et guitariste Rockabilly US né Johnny Ancil Wilson le 29 Novembre 1935 à Riversville (Virginie Occidentale). Texan d'éducation, Peanuts Wilson fit ses débuts en 1955 à Clovis en tant que guitariste des "Teen Kings" de Roy Orbison. Remarqué par Norman Petty en 1957, il enregistre deux titres qui sortiront chez Brunswick Records. Décédé en Septembre 1980, Peanuts était surtout un compositeur renommé dans la Country Music.
