Country singer/songwriter Lucky Tomblin made his professional debut at the Grand Ole Opry Show in San Antonio, TX, after which he was signed to the independent Dynamic Records label, which issued his debut single, "On My Love," a regional hit. He founded the Fire Station recording studio in San Marcos, TX, and worked as a session singer, producer, and executive producer for such artists as the Sir Douglas Quintet ,the Texas Tornados, the Ace in the Hole Band, J.R. Chatwell, Augie Meyers, and Angela Strehli. Deciding to return to performing, he put together a band, Lucky 13, and issued an album, Lucky Club Music, on Texas World Records. This group gave way to the Lucky Tomblin Band, which recorded The Lucky Tomblin Band(2003), In a Honky-Tonk Mood (2006), Red Hot from Blue Rock (2007), and Honky Tonk Merry Go Round (2010).
