Chirurgien militaire, guitariste et chanteur Bluegrass né le 26 Mars 1940 à Durham (Caroline du Nord). John Starling a fait parti de Seldom Scene de 1971 à 1977. Il est décédé le 2 Mai 2019 à Fredericksburg (Virginie).

A U.S. Army surgeon, guitarist, and singer, Starling played with The Seldom Scene progressive bluegrass band from 1971 until 1977. After playing with various other groups in the 80s, he rejoined Seldom Scene in the early '90s.
