Bill Monroe. Il est le protégé de
Kenny Baker et ancien membre de
Jimmy Martin And The Sunny Mountain Boys,
des Midnight Ramblers de James Monroe et des Johnson Mountain Boys. Il a
également joué avec d'autres artistes de bluegrass de première génération tels
que Charlie Louvin,
Jim & Jesse McReynolds et The Osbourne
Brothers.
