Chanteur Country US, Lou Millet est né dans les années 20 près de Baton Rouge (Louisiane). A la fin des années 40, il tournera pendant plusieurs années avec Lefty Frizzell. En 1956, il gravera à Nashville quelques faces Rock'n'Roll dont une version de "Slip, Slip, Slippin' in" aussi enregistrée par Eddie Bond pour Mercury Records.
