Après sa mort, son frère cadet, James Faye Hall  prit son nom de scène jusqu'à la fin de sa carrière (voir : Roy Hall). Il était le frère du musicien de bluegrass et membre du groupe, Jay Hugh Hall.

After his death, his younger brother, James Faye Hall, took his stage name for the rest of his career (see: Roy Hall). He was the brother of bluegrass musician and band member Jay Hugh Hall.
