Groupe Rockabilly Français formé en 2000 autour de 4 musiciens partageant les mêmes racines musicales : Rock 'n' Roll, Country, Rockabilly, Blues... Groupe de scène "roadé", les Burning Dust ont assuré les premières parties de groupes comme Dr Feelgood, les Happy Drivers ou encore des Meteors. Ils distillent une musique métissée mélant le dynamisme du rockabilly, le festif des mélodies cajun et un travail Vocals abouti. Le groupe est composé de Dashing Dan, Big Martin, Mister Bob et Phil Baston.
Burning Dust s’inspire de la musique des fifties pour créer son cocktail explosif et perpétue ainsi les valeurs d’un vrai rockabilly grâce à quelques clins d’oeil aux grands maîtres tels que Gene Vincent, Eddie Cochran, Johnny Burnette, Elvis Presley et leurs propres morceaux. On a pu apprécier leur démo 8 titres à forte tendance "Johnny Burnette" , puis l’album "She’s Mine" non dépourvu de compos originales... du pur rockabilly à la hot sauce Burning Dust. Sur scène leur énergie débordante ravie tous les publics, à commencer par les fans des "Planet Rockers", Brian Setzer et bien d’autres... qui ont pu les apprécier en première partie des Comets de Bill Haley à Paris, au 100^ème anniversaire Harley Davidson au National Custom Show (Parc Floral de Vincennes 94), ou comme dernièrement au célèbre festival "Blues Passions" de Cognac. Des centaines d’autres prestations sur l’hexagone et en europe de proximité... (festivals, meeting(SP) Harley & 50’s US cars, salles, casinos, clubs...) faites sur la route... et désormais à venir avec la formule: "Burning Dust On Speed Wheels Connection" Avec en particularité, la nouvelle arrivée de musiciens expérimentés tels que: Zio (Teen Kats et bien d’autres...), Jull (Old School), Earl (Overtones et bien d’autres...). Et bien sûr en compagnie des deux membres originaux de Burning Dust : Dashing Dan (Hot Riders et bien d’autres...) et Phil Baston (Macadam Cow Boys et bien d’autres...).
En 2011, Zio et Jull sont parti formé les Ghost Highway et Zio est remplacé par Mister Dazzle Dave.
En 2012, Burning Dust devient Earl & The Hightones, managé par Dashing Dan.

Burning Dust draws one’s inspiration from 50’s music to create its explosive cocktail and thus perpetuates the values of a truth rockabilly thanks to many winks with the large Masters such as Gene Vincent, Eddie Cochran, Johnny Burnette, Elvis Presley and their own tracks. They could appreciate their first 8 tracks demo with strong "Johnny Burnette" tendency, and then the album "She' Mine" not deprived of original compos … some pure rockabilly with the Burning Dust hot sauce. On Stage their overflowing energy delighted all the public ones, to start with the "Planet Rockers", Brian Setzer fans and well of others… which could appreciate them in first part of the Comets of Bill Haley in Paris, as at the 100th Harley Davidson birthday through the National Custom Show (Parc Floral de Vincennes 94), or lately at the famous 'Blues Passions' Cognac festival. So...hundreds of other performances through the French hexagon services and Europe of proximity… (festivals, Harley & 50’s US meetings, halls, casinos, clubs...) made on the road… and from now on to come with the formula: "Burning Dust On Speed Wheels Connection" With as special feature;the new coming of skilled musicians like: Zio (Teen Kats and many more...), Jull (Old School), Earl (Overtones and many more...). And for sure in company of the both Burning Dust original members : Dashing Dan (Hot Riders and many more...), Phil Baston (Macadam Cow Boys and many more...).
In 2011, Zio and Jull left formed Ghost Highway and Zio is replaced by Mister Dazzle Dave.
In 2012, Burning Dust becomes Earl & The Hightones, managed by Dashing Dan.
