Rockabilly US créé en 1956 à Norfolk (Virginie). Les Blue Caps ont été les accompagnateurs de Gene Vincent jusqu'en 1959.
Les Blue Caps étaient composés de
Dickie Harrel, Cliff Gallup
(17/06/1930-9/10/1988), Willie
Williams et Jack Neal (7/11/1930-22/09/2011). En 57, Paul Peek
(23/06/1937-3/04/2001) remplace Williams et en 58, Johnny Meeks
(16/09/1937-30/07/2016) remplace Gallup ainsi que Bobby Le Jones qui lui remplace Neal. Tommy "Bubba" Facenda
(10/11/1939-18/11/2022) assurait les claquements de mains et les accompagnements vocaux. Les Blue Caps se sont reformés en 1982 pour enregistrer un album dédié à leur ex-leader Gene Vincent.

until 1959. The Blue Caps were composed of Dickie Harrel, Cliff Gallup,
Willie Williams and Jack Neal. In 57, Paul Peek replaces Williams and in 58,
Johnny Meeks replaces Gallup as Bobby Jones who replaces Neal to him. Tommy "
Bubba " Facenda ensured the slappings of hands and the accompaniments Vocals.
The Blue Caps were reformed in 1982 to record an album dedicated to their
ex-leader Gene Vincent.
